Pao Games (this website) is operated as a hobby-scale puzzle-game suite. This page describes what data the site collects, how it's used, and your choices.
What we collect from your browser
By default the site does not collect personal information. Gameplay is anonymous — you do not need to create an account.
- Local storage on your device: we store gameplay state (the level
you've reached, save data, sound/consent preferences) using your browser's
localStorage. This data stays on your device. It is never sent to a server. - Service worker cache: to make the site playable on flaky connections, the site registers a service worker that caches static assets (HTML, JavaScript, images) in your browser. This cache also stays on your device.
Advertising (future)
The site is designed to support ad-supported play. As of the current version, no real ads are loaded — what looks like an ad slot is a labeled placeholder.
When the site begins serving real ads (via a third-party ad network), that network may set cookies and process technical information (device, IP, ad interactions) per its own privacy policy. We will:
- name the ad network on this page when integration ships;
- show a consent banner allowing you to accept or decline personalized ads;
- respect that choice via the standard IAB TCF / Google Consent Mode signal.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can remove it.

- Clear local data: open your browser settings → site data → clear cookies and storage for this domain.
- Cookie consent: the consent banner stores your choice; you can change it by clearing site data and reloading.
